For the holidays, this Montreal pastry shop is offering 3 logs, including one gluten-free and one vegan:
- Madera log: 70% smoked dark chocolate mousse (infused with Chinese Lapsang Souchong tea), banana cream, Sacher chocolate cookie, dark chocolate feuilletine, miso caramel and soft banana cookie. Finished with dark chocolate and edible gold powder.
- Kamelia log: gluten free. Chestnut and rum mousse, gluten-free cookie roulade topped with clementine marmalade, chestnut cream and gluten-free honey cookie. Finished with Alunga 40% milk chocolate flocking.
- Mosaic log: vegan. Oat and coconut base, coconut and cashew cream, apple and passion fruit cookie, mango and passion fruit jelly in a mosaic pattern. Topped with Valrhona Inspiration vegan passion fruit chocolate and fried rice paper.

When it comes to pastries, Rhubarbe Patisserie sets the bar high and its Christmas creations are no exception! This year's logs include :
- the passion - rhubarb - strawberry log: puffed cookie roulade, creamy yogurt, strawberry + rhubarb summer compote, passion fruit mousse, Breton shortbread
- the choco - pecan - caramel log (gluten free): manjari chocolate cookie, jivara chocolate cream, pecan mascarpone, caramel, pecans
But for my part, what catches my attention again this year is their choux tree topped with whipped cream and maple cream.

This pastry shop in Longueuil offers several Christmas logs following a seasonal theme:
- L'audacieuse (gluten-free): Hazelnut Mousse. Mandarin cream, Clementine marmalade, Hazelnut dacquoise cookie
- The festive: Lime cheesecake mousse, Raspberry compote, candied cherries, Pistachio cookie
- The comforting : 64% chocolate mousse, vanilla cream, praline crunch, chocolate cookie
- Traditional: Vanilla, chocolate or coffee buttercream log

We love the breads and pastries from Le Toledo Bakery and there is no doubt that the Christmas collection lives up to its reputation.
This year, they are offering 3 flavors of logs, including a vegan one :
- the vanilla raspberry log: white chocolate vanilla ganache, rolled cookie insert, homemade Quebec raspberry jam and white chocolate feuilletine.

Once again this year, 4 Yule logs are offered at Ofauria.
- The star log Brazilia: almond and Brazil chocolate cookie, coffee mousseline with grand aroma and semi-confit oranges with a melting marmalade, all decorated with thin slices of semi-confit orange and white chocolate;
- La bûche Royale: gluten-free rolled cookie, creamy dark chocolate and 70% cocoa flower;
- The Paris-Brest log: choux pastry, creamy praline and caramelized hazelnuts;
- The Marron Rhum log (version 2022): sponge cake, rum chestnut cream and iced chestnut paste.
Each log, concocted for 6 to 8 people, sells for $63 at the boutique and online. Delivery is available in Montreal and on the North Shore, from Thursday to Sunday all year long but it is already sold out between December 21 and January 1.
For the holidays, Crémy always offers original and gourmet creations, and this year is no exception. Three logs are offered this year in the Plateau Mont-Royal and Boucherville branches:

If you have food intolerances, a soy allergy or are vegan, you will find what you need at Audacieuse Vanille. This pastry shop offers several gluten-free, soy-free and vegan holiday desserts including:
- the Chocolate and Rose Log (with coconut and vegan milk chocolate mousse);
- the Souvenir d'Enfance log: almond dacquoise, toasted pecans, vanilla custard, butter cream (on Italian meringue) with maple
We especially fall for the Cranberry Festive, a cranberry, orange and lemon cake, entirely coated with orange-infused buttercream, and decorated with candied orange and lemon.

Because we don't always have the time or the desire to shop for baked goods, IGA is offering 4 logs in its grocery stores this year, two of which are creations by Marilou and Ricardo.
In addition, IGA offers a healthier log with less sugar and fat, created by Dr. Isabelle Huot and Chef Marianne, made with raspberry and cranberry yogurt.
A vegan option is also available with Jean-Philippe's Cuisine made with chocolate sponge cake, raspberry jam and chocolate mousse.

To treat yourself, you can also opt for a high-flying log created by pastry chef Clément Tilly and his team at Le Renoir. They were inspired by their signature cake, the Black Forest, and turned it into a Christmas log, hence the name Fo'Renoir.
- The Fo'Renoir log: soft gluten-free cookie, black cherry compote, creamy vanilla mousse, decorated with dark chocolate shavings.
The concept was conceived as a marriage between the refined design reminiscent of the French elegance of the Sofitel and the bark inspired by the maple tree of Quebec.
