Who says you can’t eat on a terrace during winter in Montreal? Certainly not the William Gray Hotel, which offers a winter culinary pop-up, the William Gray Winter Terrace.
Thus, until the end of March, it is inside superb transparent domes heated on the rooftop terrace of the hotel William Gray that you will be able to admire the unspoilable views on the Old Montreal and the Big Wheel while enjoying a tasty meal.
Two experiences offered for brunch and evening
Throughout the season, William Gray’s Winter Terrace will offer a daytime and an evening experience with menus that will change according to different themes:
- The holidays (December);
- Igloofest (January);
- Valentine’s Day (February);
- sugar shack (March).
During the day, they offer a 2-course brunch menu ($55 per person, alcool not included) that you can enjoy with a coffee or a mimosa.
In the evening, a 5 course menu ($125 per person, alcool included) is offered.
At the launch party, we had the opportunity to taste some of the dishes that will be on the 5 course menu.
Beet tartar, snail puff pastry, 24-hour braised beef, cavatellis with mushrooms or lacquered black cod; everything was excellent and the dishes delighted the people present.
In the domes, everything is designed for a comfortable and warm experience with the addition of carpets on the floor, heaters, furs on the chairs and felted lighting.
Under the stars, with a view of Old Montreal and the illuminated Ferris Wheel, the experience is enchanting.
And when it snows, it must be just magical.
With delicious brunch and dinner dishes, heated geodesic domes, cocktails, an exclusive wine selection and incredible scenery, don’t miss the chance to experience Montreal like never before!
