It’s the perfect time to meet up with people you haven’t seen in a while and rediscover these Old Montreal restaurants without breaking the bank!
The Happening Gourmand brunch at NELLi

We had the opportunity to try the brunch menu at NELLi, a café and wine bar that also offers a table d’hôte for $29 as part of the event, and we had a blast!
Here is a preview of the dishes served at brunch.
For the first course we had a cinnamon and bacon bun with a caramelized onion glaze and an avocado toast with marinated shimeji mushrooms and basil sprouts.

We continued with two copious and very good dishes, the eggs Benedictine with dried tomatoes, spinaches and feta and the classic breakfast, with eggs, sausages, bacon and cretons.

Other dishes included the St-Viateur bagel with smoked salmon (+$10) and a poke bowl with marinated salmon (+$6).
Ask about the “bottomless mimosas” option, offered at brunch in some restaurants, to extend the pleasure of being in a restaurant with a boozy brunch!
